Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible, but I did create some of the adventures Laura and her family had with my sister. I wanted to go back in time and live on the prairie. I think I read it in a day and then every single one of the other books in the series multiple times. This is one of those types of detective stories I also love that it includes Amish culture and other interesting elements that help you along the journey of discovery who and why the person murdered the family. I love stories that are centered around strong women who fight back and who find themselves along the way. This is a chaotic, traumatic, and intriguing book that I enjoyed. They thought they caught the guy, but turns out it was not the guy they thought it was. This is about a woman whose family was murdered and she was spared. Another detective mystery called Among the Innocent by Mary Alford.
